Education Fund of Nghi Son Cement:
Since 2006, Nghi Son Cement Corporation establishes the Education Fund with the initial amount of 100,000 USD. Yearly, the amount of Fund is from the profit before tax.
Education Fund shall support education activities such as improving condition of education organizations, scholarship for poor pupil and student or excellent pupil and student of local schools and universities.
As from 2002, Nghi Sơn Cement maintains delivery of annual scholarship of 20 million VND to schools of Quynh Luu district (Nghe An) and Tinh Gia district (Thanh Hoa). And as from 2004, maintains delivery annual scholarship of 10 million VND to Industrial Technical College (Thanh Hoa) and Ngoc Lac Vocational School (Thanh Hoa).
In addition, on occasion of Lunar New Year, Nghi Son Cement support poor pupils, handicapped and orphaned children.
Support activities:
Nghi Son Cement has supported local communes, districts, social organizations, schools hundreds tons of cement to build and improve material facilities.
The Company supports actively also the people in the natural calamity areas hundreds of million VND.
